Doesn't it look so perfectly delicious?! It's easier to spread the butter on the smooth sides of the bun, the shape is perfect, and the bread smashes down just fine. Yum!
I'm starting to think I should buy that all-ramen noodle cookbook that exists out there in the world somewhere. However, I'm QUITE a mad scientist (that's right, Andy Buehler: mad scientist) in the kitchen. I'll be sure to post more low-budget creations as they come to fruition.
For now, I'm off to conjure up a way to make my cheese-filled hotdogs into a meal different from the two I had yesterday. Don't worry, Mom (and others), I'm getting plenty to eat! This is a real test of my creativity - you know, like when I claimed that not cleaning my room as a kid was a test of my memory...
Peace, love, and vittles (that one's for you, Annette)--

This is awesome, I'm definitely going to have to try it. Also, I recently discovered that Slim Jims are a decent sub for bacon if you don't have any, only for recipes that require crumbled bacon though lol.
ReplyDeleteGOOD LUCK on you latest journey lady and next time I'm in NC we should hang out!
You could always make eggdrop Ramen! It's easy and it's more filling than Ramen.
ReplyDeleteWhat I do: make the Ramen according to package directions. After the ramen is done cooking, leave on low to mid-low (like 2-4). Crack 1-2 eggs and drop into pan on opposite sides. Fold egg in slowly, and stir when you start seeing cooked egg white. It poaches the egg very quickly. Take off heat, add the seasoning packet and enjoy!
I think you should run a "low budget meals" blog as well as this one! Even those of us on a supposed professional salary could benefit! ;)
